Applicants are encouraged to review the Foundation's Grant Guidelines and download the complete Application Packet prior to submission of a proposal. (See the complete list of forms and information to download below.) You may obtain paper copies of these forms by calling 651.224.5463 or 800.875.6167, or e-mail inbox@frbigelow.org.
To see if a project fits the Foundation's guidelines and interests, applicants may submit a letter of inquiry describing the proposed project before preparing a full proposal. Your letter should address the information included in the Proposal Narrative Guidelines, which are part of the Application Packet. Letters should be no more than two to three pages with less detail than a full proposal.

- Proposals will not be returned to the applicant.
- Please submit one copy only.
- Do not send applications in binders or folders, or include videotapes, audiotapes, CDs or DVDs.
The Foundation's acceptance for review, of either a letter of inquiry or a full proposal, does not assure that a grant will be awarded.
