 received a grant of $50,000 to help finance its Oral Health Care and Outreach Education Project. A mix of part- and full-time dentists and staff provide a full range of dental services for children and pregnant women who are currently underserved in Ramsey County. The organization aims to reduce the overall suffering caused by poor oral health.
This grant will help increase the number of dentists to address the higher incidence of dental and oral disease among infants and children from immigrant and refugee families, populations of color and low-income individuals who experience much lower levels of oral health than the general population.
