 After 60 years, the F. R. Bigelow Foundation remains committed to its founding principle of making the local community a better place to live, learn and grow. The Foundation commemorated its 60th anniversary in December 2006.
In its first 60 years of grantmaking, the Foundation invested nearly $110 million in the greater Saint Paul community. In addition to providing support to local nonprofits, the Foundation initiated its own projects to address emerging needs in the community.
While the world has changed in many ways since the Foundation was created, the original mission remains relevant today in helping meet the needs of the community.
