Helping seniors gain dignity, hope

Mental illness is not a normal part of aging. Volunteers of America-Minnesota provides services that address mental health issues among older adults. Its Senior Mental Health Services program offers a range of age-specific therapy services for individuals 55 and older, helping older adults improve their quality of life and remain independent.

The F. R. Bigelow Foundation approved a $25,000 grant to help expand this valuable service. In expanding the Senior Mental Health Services program, Volunteers of America-Minnesota is able to increase its services to older adults in Dakota and Ramsey counties. Visit the website to learn more.
