Portrait of Adam Murray

“I love being involved in so many parts of this organization. My role allows me to learn about and work with people who are doing amazing work to strengthen the state of Minnesota and ensure that it is a place where everyone can thrive.”

Adam supports the Community Impact team’s work, “sweating the small stuff” so that program officers and others can focus on responding to community-identified priorities in the East Metro and across Minnesota.

He began working at The Saint Paul & Minnesota Community Foundations in 2017. Prior to that, he was an intern at Minneapolis creative agency Fast Horse. He has worked across all sectors, including nonprofits, government and for-profit institutions.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston College. In his spare time, he sings in the Basilica of Saint Mary Cathedral Choir and serves on the EdAllies Community Allies Council. He and his fiancé Emily have a cat, named Minnie, and he is an aspiring baker.
