Alicia Kunin-Batson, Ph.D., LP is a pediatric neuropsychologist in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical School. In her clinical work, she serves children and families with complex learning difficulties, medical conditions, and emotional-behavioral disorders, and provides supervision to psychology interns and fellows. Her research agenda focuses on understanding the mechanisms linking early life stress to later health and neurodevelopmental outcomes, and developing interventions to buffer against these risks.

Kunin-Batson received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Kenyon College and Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. She completed internship and fellowship training in pediatric psychology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and fellowship training in neuropsychology at the University of Minnesota. She is active in the Center for Women in Medicine and Science at the University of Minnesota, and previously served as Chair of the PACER board of directors.

She and her husband Hayes Batson reside in Saint Paul with their two children.
