Carolyn Egeberg

Vice President of Strategy

“I was drawn by the good work that is done by The Saint Paul & Minnesota Community Foundations and am particularly interested in the broad systemic issues of equity, community engagement and philanthropy.”

Carolyn serves as the vice president of Strategy for The Saint Paul & Minnesota Community Foundations. In her role, she collaborates with the board, executive leadership team and staff members to tightly align the Foundations’ core values, goals and strategies in fulfilling the missions of the Foundations. She also oversees the Human Resources and IT departments.

A long-time resident of both Minnesota and Wisconsin, Carolyn brings an expertise in strategy and leadership from her previous roles at 3M, CaringBridge and the Science Museum of Minnesota.

Carolyn has a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master of Arts in philanthropy and development from Saint Mary’s University in Winona.

Carolyn has been involved with the many communities through volunteer leadership at her church, AFP-Minnesota, The Association of Science & Technology, Grant Advisor, and the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphony.

Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her husband, adult children, and many friends. She stays active with running, barre classes, golf and settling in to her new “empty-nester” home.
