“I believe strongly in the work of our Foundations and the value we provide to all the communities we serve.”
After a career in Information Technology leadership with a major financial services provider, Michele now leads the IT Department. Her purpose is to enable staff members to do their best work to serve constituents, and advance our mission by ensuring a solid technology infrastructure and providing robust applications and data tools.
She joined The Saint Paul & Minnesota Community Foundations in 2017 after working at Securian Financial Group, where she led several, various IT functions over the years. Michele has also worked with her husband’s business in Twin Cities affordable housing development for many years, and continues to stay engaged in that family mission.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and says her favorite parts of her work are partnering with staff members to understand their needs and opportunities and finding technology solutions that will make their work more effective and efficient.
In her spare time, Michele is a volunteer at the Community Resource Center in Mahtomedi and enjoys playing piano and ensemble singing. She also enjoys barre class, theater and classical music outings, books and films. She and her husband live in the Twin Cities and have two adult daughters.
