As Associate Vice President of Operations, Michele Belisle (she/her/hers) leads the IT Department, delivering secure, reliable technology solutions for the organization. Before joining the Foundation in 2017, Michele worked for Securian Financial Group, where she led several, various IT functions over the years. In her current role, Michele collaborates with her team and leaders across the organization to provide effective solutions so staff members can focus on what matters most, serving constituents and advancing the Foundation’s mission.

Aside from her work at the Foundation, Michele serves as a partner in a real estate development company that has focused primarily on affordable housing for decades. She is also a strong proponent of basic needs for all and was a long-time volunteer for the Community Resource Center in Mahtomedi until her transition back to full-time work at the Foundation. She currently serves on the board of directors for Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies.

Michele holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in information systems from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and fosters continuous education as technology is ever-changing. In her free time, Michele enjoys singing, yoga, live theater and music performances and spending time with her husband and two adult daughters.
